Description a. Preparing and submitting daily shift reports including the performance of all the main equipment in the plant, overseeing all aspects of daily plant operation. b. Monitoring both production lines and technical reporting of the shift incidents: equipment stoppage, unusual incidents, etc. c. Coordination between the shift staff of both O&M contractors, keeping a positive community relationship. d. Maintain the safety policy assuring that only approved procedures are applied and assure proper general housekeeping in the plant. e. Control all processes in the plant are taking place in the most efficient and professional way and, otherwise, propose actions and/or report deficiencies to the corresponding first line plant manager in a timely manner. f. Control the mobile equipment including rented trucks and loaders, submitting their working hours on shift basis including penalties in case of improper actions made. g. Monitoring chemistry of raw mix piles and report incidences. h. Control and monitor deliveries and stock of all the clay types supplied. i. Follow up chemistry of raw meal produced: LSF, SR, AR, Sieves. j. Follow up clinker quality and transportation to the proper place k. Follow up cement produced quality: sieve, blaine, sulfate, etc. l. Reporting of clinker and additives content in the produced cement. m. Control and coordinate the operation of the palletizers with the forklift drivers to give first quality service to customers.
Qualifications - Cement industry operations/process. -A bachelors degree in science or engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical or instrumentation) from a recognized university. - Experience of minimum 1.5 years in cement plant or similar heavy industry. -Technical experience in one or more fields of cement, steel, or petro-chemical industry. -Excellent language skills in English and Arabic, fluent spoken and written.
