Description The position requires performance of the following functions: * Carries out property / facilities / maintenance duties as required * Monitor and execute Planned Preventative Maintenance on various systems within the project such as annual inspection and testing of all electrical systems, desirable * Compiles and manage a call/job log — Preparation of technical reports on buildings services systems: collects and compiles performance data, checks statistical data for accuracy, makes cost calculations, technical statistical data graphs, computes year to year operational performance of building systems, conveyance systems, etc. — Participates in budget projections for technical services. — Receives request for electro-mechanical maintenance support and repairs, generates appropriate work orders and blueprints, specifying the appropriate technical data, and dispatches them to the appropriate trade workshops to proceed with retro-fit work. — Follows-up on pending requisitions and any requests for additional work and priority services. — Secures signatures of authorized personnel for approval of technical projects, requisitions, invoices. — Creates, maintains and monitors project and operating files for electro-mechanical technical systems. — Develops and maintains a filing system for requisitions, original construction documents, architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings. — Maintains and controls any request for copies of electrical and mechanical plans and system reports. — Oversees operations — Reviews contractors performance and invoices and assists with cost recovery as required. — Prepares requests for supplies and contractual services and utility projections correspondence. — Monitors stock of electro-mechanical engineering supplies to ensure effective support. — Coordinates maintenance, retrofit and renovation projects on-site. — Catalogues drawings and technical data in electronic format. — Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications University Degree in Electro Mechanical Engineering Knowledge of building management and industry codes and standards. Knowledge of technical standards and best practices in the field of electro-mechanical engineering, specifically in the areas of heating, ventilation and air conditioning principles and operations in other service areas. Knowledge of HVAC, building, plumbing and/or electrical codes. Good Computer skills.
