Description The successful applicant will work in the educational biology laboratories of the biomedical science program. He/she will have to work with different equipment and reagents to assist the laboratory manager and a disciplinary team of dedicated faculty members. The successful applicant responsibilities include but not limited to: 1. Preparing reagents and chemicals for students laboratories on a daily basis. 2. Organizing the stock room and laboratories. 3. Following up on the state of requirements, reagents, supplies, animals,‡. etc.) 4. Reporting state of laboratory facilities and equipment. 5. Ensuring proper disposal of chemical and/or biological materials in accordance with safety and compliance regulations and that the labs are clean.
Qualifications • B.Sc. degree in biology, agriculture, science, biotechnology, or a related field • Experience in molecular biology, Cell biology, or Genetics. • Ability to handle animals and lab equipment (PCR, electrophoresis, Microscopes,…etc. ) • At least one year of experience in a relevant laboratory. • Knowledge of laboratory safety issues. • Good English skills. • Excellent computer skills.
