Description Investment banking analyst is basically the one who helps the companies to make investment decisions. The incumbent is usually specialized in one particular sector such as energy, retail or financial services. He or she has to analyze results and reports on potential investment sector then has to generate information that helps companies generate/maximize value. — Prepare complex financial reports and models after analyzing the target company, its competitive environment and the economy in which it operates — Advise client companies on the financial matter after conducting due diligence investigations — Write the detailed information memoranda and compile presentations describing the key features of client companies in association with the client companies legal advisors — Identify the potential buyers/investors and research comparable share prices for similar transactions — Participate in various transaction-related marketing efforts (e.g. roadshows) and recruiting activities of the firm (e.g. appointing legal, technical and financial advisors) and follow up on the marketing trends — Develop new business and do the common work such as preparing client presentations and market new products (e.g. sales pitches) — Fulfill other duties of researching and structuring transactions, pricing and closing the deals
Qualifications • BSc. in Finance or Accounting or Business Administration (MBA or CFA is a plus) with high honors or a minimum GPA of 3.5 . Minimum 3 years in investment banking at a reputable house with a proven track record of closed transactions
