As Material Manager, youll be responsible for the following: Translates operating forecasts into material requirement plans and thereby determines standard stock and reorder levels with Department Heads & Management. Identifies and develops reliable sources of supply. Identifies and organizes adequate storage for all perpetual inventory items. Establishes and maintains effective employee relations. Conducts such functions as interviewing, hiring, orientation, performance appraisal, coaching, counseling and suspending if necessary, to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity consults with DOFBS. Supervisors the hotels print shop to ensure timely and economical production of printed materials. Ensures that market surveys are completed in coordination with the Executive Chef, F & B Manager and Cost Accountant. Compete against a standard of excellence by setting high performance standards and pursuing aggressive goals. Diagnose problems and thoroughly analyze information to guide decision making. Evaluate and assimilate critical information when reaching conclusions and make logical, competent decisions. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned from DOFBS.
Qualifications 3-5 years of Experience in similar role and/or Purchasing Manager.
