As a Budget Controller, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for budget tracking, prepares monthly actual reports based on ERP data
- Lead budget control process & meetings with budget owners to avoid any overspending, identify risks and opportunities
- Responsible for budgets’ forecast creation for related spending bucket in the ERP
- Validate cross charge requests and execution
- Within month update on spend vs. BDG, and escalating issues for resolution & investigation
- Month end proofing and validation of respective budgets
- Lead year end accrual preparation and trainings
- Leads implementation of regional simplification projects
- Be the center of expertise for process, procedure & technical know-how for area of ownership
- Work closely with regional financial analysts
Requirements
- Hold an accounting/finance degree qualification (or similar)
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and part of a team
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting
- Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills
- Excellent initiative and follow through; strong sense of urgency and responsibility
- Results oriented, strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) or Oracle Hyperion planning tools is a plus.
