Description Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards. Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS). Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning. Provide Level-1/2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues. Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Qualifications Candidates should have some experience with large scale campus LAN deployments. understanding many of the following protocols & technologies: 802.1d VLANs/STP, IPv4, RIP, HSRP, TACACS, IPSEC & VPNs, DNS, DHCP. CCNA certification is a must.
