Position: Planning & Supply Chain ManagerJob Summary:
· Responsible for the supply on date of all the supplier materials required in the center, guaranteeing the fulfillment of the scheduled works.
· Establish effective communication with suppliers that guarantees an optimal flow of information for the management of the supply chain.
· Analysis of the needs reflected in the MRP to identify the critical elements that guarantee the fulfillment of the scheduled work.
· Establish and monitor KPIs for inventory turnover, and supplier performance.
· Adequacy of the material lot size parameters to the production needs to ensure supply in the center and to keep inventory levels within the annual objectives.
· Coordination of supplies with support from Spain.
· Monitoring of modifications and repairs materials inside Talgo.
· Collaboration / Synchronization with the Logistics area.
· Updating and monitoring of the Train Services and Maintenance Chart.
· Preparation and launch of work orders for the activities to be carried out in the center.
· Creating material needs, on time and according to the ideal method in each case (safety stock, specific need, order reservation...)
· Printing of orders and documentation associated with them.
· Monitoring of the work carried out in the center and closing of the associated work orders.
· Attach in the system all the documentation generated during maintenance operations.
· Collaboration in the settlement of costs and economic control of Talgo activities in the work center.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
· Experience in railway, transportation, heavy machinery, or industrial maintenance sectors preferred.
· SAP - MM/IM/PM modules (very valuable).
· English Fluency is a must.
