Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing planning strategies that support the growth of our business in the food industries and retail sectors. Their responsibilities will include:
* Analyzing market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and challenges.
* Developing comprehensive strategic business plans for the short and long term.
* Forecasting sales and inventory based on historical data and market analysis.
* Collaborating with various departments (e.g., Production, Sales, Marketing, Procurement) to ensure alignment of plans and achievement of objectives.
* Monitoring and evaluating the performance of strategic plans and providing recommendations for improvement.
* Preparing periodic reports on the progress of plan implementation.
* Identifying and analyzing potential risks and developing contingency plans.
* Contributing to the development and improvement of internal planning processes.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
* Minimum of [3:5] years of experience in planning, with specific experience in the food industries and/or retail sectors.
* Strong understanding of market dynamics in the food industries and retail sectors.
* Proficiency in using planning and forecasting tools and software.
* Excellent analytical skills and the ability to extract insights from data.
* Strong communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English (preferred).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
