Vacancy: Maintenance Manager
Location: Mall of ArabiaPart of the duties/responsibilities:
-Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all mall systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, fire safety, and structural components.
-Ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
-Monitor the performance of building systems and equipment and identify areas for improvement or replacement.
-Supervise a team of technicians, ensuring tasks are assigned, completed efficiently, and meet quality standards.
-Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team knowledge and adherence to safety protocols.
-Evaluate staff performance and recommend promotions, disciplinary actions, or additional training.
-Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and service agreements.
-Review and approve quotations, contracts, and work scopes to ensure cost-effectiveness and high-quality service delivery.
-Inspect completed work to ensure it meets contractual obligations and mall standards.
-Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget and track expenses against forecasts.
-Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local regulations, health and safety codes, and environmental guidelines.
-Conduct regular safety drills and equipment inspections to mitigate risks.
Address any hazards or emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities as needed.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or any relevant field.
-Strong knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment.
-Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
