Edfa3ly team is looking to expand its desk with a PHP/LAMP Web Developer with 1+ years’ field experience to take a role in the development of our client facing on-line applications as well as our internal systems. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a modern web development team with much usage and knowledge of current web trends and technologies
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting in the development of our client facing online applications as well as improving our internal systems legacy and future ones.
This would include:
· Maintaining and enhancing existing applications.
· Developing new applications in conjunction with support from more senior developers.
· Writing documentation for the portions of applications you involved in.
· Conducting testing of applications.
Good working knowledge of
· Object Oriented PHP5
· MySQL
· JavaScript
· (X)HTML & CSS
· Code repositories (e.g. GIT or SVN) is recommended
Preferred experience:
· Cross browser compatibility and accessibility
· MVC frameworks, especially Zend(2) or Symfony(2) or Yii or Typo3-Flow(2) or
· jQuery JavaScript library including the use of AJAX techniques
· Windows and Linux CLI
· Bug tracking tools (e.g. Redmine/Trac/JIRA)
Essential skills or experience:
· Ability to work within a pre-existing team.
· Experience of working in an environment where products have to be delivered to specific time-scales.
· Ability to understand a brief and deliver what was required.
· Ability to ensure high code quality.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
· Be a keen learner who is always looking to improve skill levels.

This position is a full-time position based out of our office at 11-12 Mostafa Refaat, Sheraton Heliopolis.
