Description Oversees the development and implementation of GB Autos safety and security budgets and manages his department to meet budget and other non-financial targets. Develops and implements a safety and security plan at GB Auto. Conducts periodic audits to identify physical hazards and unsafe workplace conditions. Establishes safety guidelines and improvements. Ensures effective dissemination and communication of health & safety guidelines. Ensures regulatory compliance with the safety & security measures required by the Egyptian laws. Oversees the security operations of GB Auto premises and manages serious security incidents. Develops & implements security procedures. Sources external security providers, monitors their performance, and manages relations with them in order to minimize costs. Supervises and reviews initial security incident investigation and ensures a timely response is provided for all reported incidents. Coordinates the security operations with the official bodies. As applicable, develops, coordinates and/or conducts safety and security training programs in coordination with GB Auto Academy and local civil defense. Develops risk assessment on country situation and recommends on potential mitigation actions. Develops evacuation plans for all expatriate employees. Develops and institutionalizes GB Autos data, know-how, and capabilities related to safety& security management. Identifies and tracks safety &security KPIs, and devises plans and improvements
Qualifications BA degree or equivalent degree; security & safety certification preferred Excellent administrative and communication skills Excellent working knowledge of Egypt’s security & safety labor laws and regulations Minimum 5 years experience in a similar corporate role security and safety administration Working on multi-sites (minimum 40 sites) Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English
