Description — Write and edit web-based content in both Arabic and English — Timely creation, editing and posting of content for Zewail City website and the various social media platforms of Zewail City of Science and Technology — Maintain editorial consistency across the website — Curating web content to produce compelling, cohesive, thematic landing pages — Produce email communications — Conduct regular analysis of website traffic; work to increase audience and traffic across website, newsletters, and social media. — Make connections with influential social media platforms as part of efforts to development outreach efforts — Assist in creation of multimedia content — Organize and manage social media outreach during Zewail City events — Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the growth of the Citys webs Social media platforms, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of new initiatives — Regularly feedback insights gained from monitoring into the Marketing and Editorial teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion — Monitor trends in online platforms tools, trends and applications and figure out how to use them to develop the City online strategy — Implementation of the editorial calendar for Zewail City website and social media (follow up of articles, translation, publication & sharing)
Qualifications • Minimum 3-5 years online editorial experience, in communications/journalism • Strong editorial and writing skills; ability to write strong, clickable headlines • Good time management skills, ability to work to tight deadlines and to manage multiple projects • Web management experience • Knowledge of SEO and mobile best practices • Exceptional attention to editorial details • Interest in science , technology and education strongly preferred • Strong sense of discretion and ability to handle confidential issues
