Description Monitors the efficient day-to-day operation of the plant to ensure water quality and process stability Ensures all records are properly maintained and ensures the proper and timely submission of required reports Prepares reports and documents for senior managers and may conduct research and analyze findings Conducts regular plant inspections; follows recommended preventative maintenance schedules Reviews service and maintenance contracts; oversees contracted services for adherence to specifications Performs and completes necessary mechanical repairs to the plant equipment; schedules contracted repair Responds to queries from a wide-variety of sources; investigates and solves problems with discretion and resourcefulness Takes samples and performs tests to ensure water quality; computes and records Inspects work being performed by contractors to ensure adherence to plans and specifications test results Budget Controlling against prescribed criteria Directs, leads and motivates assigned employees
Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred) Min. 10- 15 years experience in a management position of Water / Waste Water Plants Understanding of the principles and applications associated with manufacturing operations, maintenance and engineering Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills Technical knowledge in the field of Water and Wastewater business, digestion and biogas valorisation Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Arabic, German as an additional advantage Good knowledge of MS-Office, Control Software, Siemens, Arcon is preferred
