Description )Purchase Engineer specialized in ordering mechanic equipment / parts from suppliers and establishes delivery schedules, the role includes the following: /— Prepare market studies./— Negotiate prices with vendors./— Place orders with vendors./— Create sales lists./— Prepare purchasing and stock control reports./— Prepares/revises monthly budget (sales/purchasing) and advises corrective actions./— Any other duties asked relating to the brand./— Documentation follow-up and revision with vendors./— Issuing insurance policies requests./— Market visits with coordination with sales department to check new parts, trends and competitive information./— Completes all supplier data on system including ABC classification of each part number, as well as Min/Max order quantities, lead times, re-order quantities‡etc./— Ensures regular supplier stock in company branches and ensures corrective action is done in accordance with the system./— Regular check on company catalogues and/or website to include new products to the range./— All products need to have the car-park associated with each of the part numbers in order to be able to measure.
