Description o Manage Enterprise Infrastructure and works closely with business and IT leaders, vendors and suppliers. o Manage and support all OPP network and servers hardware and software. o Design, configure, optimize, monitor and maintain the organization LAN and WANs and in doing so providing an effective, reliable and secure communications infrastructure. o Ensure that all company network and physical security policies are followed in relation to the infrastructure. o Develop and maintain an effective secured system (including across all Servers/Notebooks/Desktops) and ensure the network is appropriately equipped to defend itself against virus attack or unauthorized access. o Design and Implementation of new infrastructure systems and services. o Provide suggestions of improvements and developments required for a growing company. o Ensure that all backs ups are run and if required reinstall any lost or corrupt data. o Develop and Maintain infrastructure documentation. o Recruit staff to include interviewing, assigning work, training, coaching, and counseling ensuring consistent application of Employee Guidelines, processes, and procedures. o Establish level of service standards and operating policies/procedures for overall systems and network availability and individual components. o Organize infrastructure group to provide support for software and hardware projects as well as new and existing application software including maintaining o Periodically reviews appropriateness of technologies used for system components and recommends modifications and/or upgrades when necessary to keep systems operating according to defined service level agreements and operating level agreements. o Prepare operating and capital budget recommendations for infrastructure area and each specific system components.
Qualifications o Bachelors degree in a relevant Information Technology field of study, such as computer engineering, project management or equivalent. o Minimum of 7 years of experience with information technology infrastructure, shared services and data center management including data and voice communications, SQL and Oracle database administration, IT Service Management (ITSM), server and desktop operating systems, intranet and internet architecture and security, telecommunication, server, desktop and application virtualization technologies. o Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2008, MS Exchange Server, LANs, WANs, Virtualization, TCP/IP, Routing, SANs, SQL Server, network design, firewalls, Active Directory, Group Policy, security technologies, system monitoring and management. o Proven record of implementing IT security tools and techniques. o Knowledge of current and emerging industry technologies.
