Description —Develop complex and risky use-cases. —Develop and maintain existing web/mobile applications which includes bug fixing, enhancements, and implementing new requirements. —Participate on the design activities. —Support junior developers. —Show appetite and aptitude for owning responsibility of technical decisions and direction for one or many projects/teams. —Aptly manage team demands on his/her time and show willingness/ability to delegate technical execution or responsibilities when appropriate. —Act as a liaison or primary point of contact for communicating with client side technical expertise. —Direct technical aspect of operations related to escalated client accounts or high severity issues as they affect or confront a project or team. —Attend to both business and technical considerations when designing solutions to project/team or company related issues. —Demonstrate interest in improving the companys technical awareness, depth and use of technology across the business. —Participate in the evolution of company level best practices, standards, and policies as it related to software development. —Provide thought-leadership as it relates to emerging technologies and readying our company and engineers for productively integrating the same into our business. —Adhere company process and software engineering methodology. —Provide application training to customers. —Deploy applications to customer site, fixing bugs ‡etc.
Qualifications Technical Skills •SQL •JDBC •JPA or Hibernate •Web Components: JSP & Servlets •JSF 2 •EJB 3 •XML and XML schemas •SOAP web services •Java-Script •HTML •JMS •Oracle Web-Services
