Description The fundamental task of the Alexandria IT Senior Specialist is to ensure that all information systems, networks and all technology and power related equipment work reliably and smoothly, facilitating the work of personnel and causing the least disruption possible to staff and clients of AMIDEAST. The IT Senior Specialist also assists in maintaining all infrastructure devices and related equipment are working reliably and computer equipment and related peripherals and activities, including user supports, and learn when new technologies are needed by the organization. This is a support role and is expected to cover anytime during the week or out of working hours according to business needs. —Availability at any time either remotely or physically in the work premises or offsite according to work need —High responsiveness and support to all users requests within very clear response times and business prioritization. —Monitor and Implement security surveillance cameras on daily basis and their recordings and make sure of their availability when requested. —Monitor and Implement ADSL Internet connections to make sure ADSL and SDSL internet availability and usage are within AMIDEAS standards. —Implement the functionality of the local network Infrastructure including Network ports, Switches, Patch Panels, Patch cords to make sure of Network functionality and communication performance. —Maintain and Implement Phone system including Siemens PBX, Phone sets and Phone Land Line to maintain the phone system availability, automated message records and its connectivity with other FOs —Implement and Troubleshoot Desktop computers Hardware and software to make sure of their performance and software updates. This position description is not intended to be all-inclusive, and the incumbent will perform other reasonable business-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications Skills: •Proficiency in Network infrastructure design, topology, and troubleshooting. •Proficiency in Internet connections. •Proficiency in desktop Hardware/ Software troubleshooting •Proficiency in security camera systems including Monitoring, equipments …etc •Proficiency in English TOIEC Score 505-605 •Proficiency in working independently or as a team player. •Solid understanding of ERPs and modern mobile and WEB applications Required: •Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or equivalent. •Three or more years of experience in similar fields with multinational organization Preferred: •CompTIA Network+ Certification. •CompTIA A+ Certification •CompTIA Server+ Certification •CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) Certification. •MCITP Certification. •ITIL Foundation Certification. •WEB Application Design and Implementation •ANDROID/IOS Application design, implementation and support
