Description work as an integral part of the Egyptian Eastern Desert Asset Teams as a secondee to one of two Joint Venture (‘JV–) Companies (50%/50% TransGlobe and the Egyptian General Petroleum Company) to manage the subsurface depletion plan.
Qualifications BS or equivalent degree in Petroleum Engineering (preferred), with minimum 10 years and preferably 15+ years of oil & gas subsurface industry experience. Other Engineering degrees will be considered based on level of subsurface experience. Experience preparing and monitoring field development and optimization plans Experience with waterflood projects and tight oil reservoirs preferred. Additional EOR or ASP experience is desirable. Experience working with a Production Engineering team to manage workover and recompletion plans, and reserve migration plans. Experience with heavy and medium oil operations. Previous international operations experience preferred. “Classic” reservoir training in material balance, log analysis, reserves, and simulation is desirable
