Description 1. Job Summary To lead the Accounting Unit ensuring timeliness and accuracy of all accounts processing, closing and generation of financial statements as well as continuous development of processes and procedures in alignment with the department and the companys objectives 2. Role & Responsibilities Ensure accuracy of accounts and their full reconciliation into the general ledger. Open New Accounts in the chart of accounts to maintain its harmony. Help the internal and external audit to perform their tasks. Audit and maintain the accuracy of the Sales commission and bonuses. Reconcile fixed assets. Reconcile the technical Accounts (Contribution Receivable, Commission, Claims, provisions and Bank Accounts). Report and analyze the Companys Financial Statements according to the International Accounting Standards. Modify the Budget and the Business Planning Dialogue for the Company. Analyze and modify the Expenses Budget for the Company. Coordinate with the internal, external auditors, and Finance Managers to ensure that the fiscal year-end as well as calendar year-end audits are timely and accurate. Revisit the Chart of Accounts for Group reporting and participate in initiatives aiming at developing and enhancing the quality of reports generation in the unit Coordinate with the IT department in implementing new programs and systems. Assist in coaching and Appraising the performance of subordinates and provide performance feedback Monitor the training needs for subordinates and ensure the update of their skills in order to support the implementation of their responsibilities.
Qualifications At least 7 years of experience in the field of accounting. Enrolment in or achievement of CPA/CMA/CIA/IFRS is a definite asset. Excellent analytical and logical skills. Excellent reporting skills. Excellent quantitative abilities and attention to details and accuracy. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work in teams and cooperate with other team members. Good coaching skills. Good time management, planning and organizational skills. Highly self-motivated with an ability to handle work pressure and to meet tight deadlines. Presentable. Excellent computer skills (especially Excel). Good command of written & spoken English and Arabic.
