Document current as-is production processes and best practices at each work station, Standardize processes for all work stations, Outline proposed production improvements including but not limited to change in material flow, workshop arrangement, station instructions, resource allocation, machinery utilization, Work with staff to implement process improvement recommendations, Evaluate and revise changes as necessary, Implement an improved efficiency measurement system to capture labor efficiency, material yields, and rejects/rework Outline and implement a process improvement framework, Teaching and training core tenants of lean manufacturing to production staff, Work with Production Manager and Director of Operations to ensure production goals are met and on schedule.
Qualifications Excellent knowledge of Engineering drawings,Excellent knowledge about machining and CNC machines,AutoCAD or CAD/CAM software.
