-Following up with the planning department to obtain and update information regarding the required quantities of raw materials and packaging materials. -Analyzing and studying monthly and weekly purchasing plans in order to establish the POs of the raw and packaging materials accordingly. -Following up on all purchases from the PO placement until the delivery and ensuring that the specifications of the purchased items match with those specified in the POs. -Following up on the delivery status of placed POs to ensure timely delivery, avoid shortages, and address any issues that may arise promptly. -Processing quotations obtained from suppliers and participating in evaluating them. -Updating the SAP system with the necessary transactions when ordering or receiving raw or packaging materials. -Regularly researching for new and potential suppliers in order to get new and better offers and recommending on them. -Building and maintaining a strong relationship with suppliers in order to facilitate the purchasing process and create additional value. -Participating in evaluating suppliers as per the set criteria and updating the approved suppliers list accordingly. -Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor
