Implementing new security devices. • Maintaining current security implementations. • Troubleshooting networks security problems. • Implementing security designs made by the solutions architects. • Provide 1st level support for customers.
Qualifications •Above average knowledge of networking protocols, especially TCP/IP. •Above average knowledge of network security threats and mitigation. •Average knowledge of Application Layer Firewalls. •Able to manage multiple projects efficiently, maintain strict confidentiality, function in a dynamic environment, handle stress and high levels of responsibility, and work well in a team environment. •Experience in corporate networks security, specifically networks that span multiple subnets. •Experience in supporting clients on a corporate network; specifically support involving Switches, Subnets, Routers, VLANs, DNS, Network Shares, Network Storage, File/Print services, Directory Services, Etc. is preferred. •Experience with personal computer and server hardware and able to perform troubleshooting is preferred. •Experience with Wireshark software is preferred. •Having an entry level certificate in networking like CCNA or JNCIA is highly preferred.
