Demonstrates techniques in activities such as drawing and painting. • Knows the fundamentals and different approaches to drawing. • Instruct students in proper care and use of tools and equipment. • Organize storage areas and control use of materials, equipment and tools to prevent loss or abuse, and to minimize time required for distribution and collection. • To maintain good order and discipline among the pupils • To organise and manage groups or individual pupils ensuring differentiation of learning needs, reflecting all abilities. • Creates an effective environment for learning through functional and attractive use of different materials. • Displays the students’ projects inside or outside the class. • To participate in staff meetings and parents meetings as required. • To ensure that school policies are reflected in daily practice. • To communicate with parents over all aspects of their children’s education – academic, social and behavioural by discussing the students’ progress and interpret the school program. • To support the Supervisor in promoting the capabilities of the department. • Selects instructional aids and needed materials; maintains required inventory records. • Supervises students in and out-of-classroom activities during the school day; breaks and dismissal time. • Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional participation atmosphere in the classroom. • Evaluates students, keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress reports. • Identifies student needs and cooperates with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems. • Participate in curriculum and other developmental programs, such as after school art club or any extracurricular activities. • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Administration
Qualifications Bachelors degree in a relevant field and/or years of experience
