1- Administer and Manage RDC Cloud and Virtualization environments a. Create new VMs , Migrate , clone and convert existing VMs b. Create vStandard Switches c. Check on Data Stores Consumption level and guarantee that it’s available and with no issues. d. Perform Hardening process and operation over different virtual machines 2- Create and assigning LUNs to different hosts on the SAN and NAS level 3- Support and administer over the production Storage Devices ( VNX 5300 – HP P4300 ),and testing Storage Devices (Open filer – iOmega) 4- Contact vendors in case of any HW or SW issues and troubleshooting ( EMC – cPanel – HP – Vmware ) 5- Perform change management processes on cloud and virtual hosting environment 6- Perform 2nd tier troubleshooting for cloud and virtual hosting environments 7- Provide weekly and monthly capacity reports 8- Monitoring Data Center systems using PRTG and other monitoring tools 9- Escort Customers inside the Data center during the visits 10- Perform daily physical eye check 11- Notify customers by incidents relevant to their environments 12- Handle incidents with customers and provide all technical assistance 13- Provide RDC customers by a reason for outage report “RFO”
Qualifications Bachelors degree in information systems or relevant and minimum 2 years experience in the following: 1- VMWare vCloud directory, vCenter and Operations Manager 2- Strong Knowledge in Windows and Linux environments 3- Knowledge in different storage systems like HP and EMC 4- VMware Certified 5- ITIL certified is plus
