Description Prepare layout and design of complex piping design systems using 2D and 3D PDMS. Producing quality piping design layouts, layouts of various process skids, orientation of process equipment with nozzle locations and interconnecting piping. Producing piping support drawings. Processing material take-off. Be available for site visits as required. Assist in engineers and designers in resolving piping design issues. Assist in preparing man-hour estimates. Handel discipline management activities such as progress sheet and quantity survey reports. Other various project responsibilities as required.
Qualifications A recognized High Industrial institute qualification or equivalent. Years of exp. Min one year in piping layout and design relating to the process plant. Basic knowledge of 2d and 3D software to include PDMS or any other 3D Environment software. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Knowledge and ability to work with MS office products(Word , Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Basic understanding of the international codes and standards Basic knowledge to conduct layout and design for piping Systems. Knowledge of piping components such as pipe, fittings, valves, etc.
