Description Responsible for organizing the storage and distribution of goods. The role ensures that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost. It may also be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods. Understanding the whole supply chain is important so that the role can coordinate it effectively and liaise with suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers and clients.
- Schedules all product distribution
- Selects carriers and third party services
- Negotiates third party contracts and rates
- Ensures all shipments are compliant with interstate traffic laws and regulations
- Responds to shipping complaints, lost items, and damages
- Reviews and analyzes budgets, expenditures, and operations
- Determines needs for expansion of routes and schedules
- Supervises and manages logistics team
- Provides leadership to help team develop skills and meet goals
- Tracks and reports shipment results
- Develops and documents standard operating procedures
- Analyzes financial impact of logistics changes, routing, shipping modes, etc.
- Designs, assesses, and implements new strategies and initiatives
- Collaborates with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes
-Maintain communication with warehouse staff to ensure proper working order
- Trace, track all the shipments

Qualifications -Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or Logistics . -Significant working experience, minimum 3 years , at either Logistics Company, maritime and road logistics, or in the transportation of industrial food-ideally fruit juices - A deep knowledge of INCOTERMS - Significant experience in collecting and analyzing data - Excellent, mature leadership capabilities - Previous experience in the food sector, and especially the juice industry will be considered as an asset - Experience working within an ISO quality plan is an asset - Strong planning, organizational skills and attention to detail are required - Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
