Description SUMMARY
 The main role of the incumbent is to provide full administrative support to the Cairo-based technical team and coordinate implementation of activities with field offices.


 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the direct supervisor.
 1. Coordinate with technical consultants assigned field activities.
 2. Assist field offices with the provision of tools and logistics required for technical consultants.
 3. Follow up on work assignments under guidance of team leaders.
 4. Schedule appointments with project clients and make sure clients receive documents and receivables on time
 5. Organize and manage relevant databases.
 6. Assist in preparing deliverable documents.
 7. Support the validation processes of the implementation plan across the IRs
 8. Assist component leads in developing the database of buyers and suppliers.
 9. Assist with collecting marketing data and follow up with stakeholders on assigned work plan activities,
 10. Coordinate with the technical and training teams as necessary to capture data required for the MEL reporting of the project. This includes photos for progress reports, training description, etc.

Qualifications Preferred Skills / Prerequisites - Must have a minimum of a bachelors degree in management or related field, a minimum of 2-3 years work experience - A working knowledge of Administration, good report, filling and writing skills is required - Ability to communicate with and respond to common inquiries or complaints from beneficiaries and members of the business community - Ability to write and translate reports - Very Good in language skills required are: English and Arabic - Must be adept at critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Must be able to handle problematic situations quickly and efficiently especially in relationship to fellow staff members - Must be highly organized, prompt, accessible, resourceful, initiative, results-oriented with a positive outlook - Must be an excellent communicator, team-player with demonstrated interpersonal and networking skills

Other Skills PROJECT BACKGROUND: Feed the Future Egypt Rural Agribusiness Strengthening Project (ERAS) is a five-year USAID-funded activity. The project aims to improve the competitiveness of Egypts horticulture producers and related down-stream businesses and food processors. It promotes a more competitive and inclusive Egyptian economy through growth in selected horticultural sectors with special focus on securing employment and increasing agriculture-related incomes of smallholder farmers. The project will work in greater Cairo, Upper Egypt, and the Nile Delta, through three strategic regional offices in Luxor, Minya and Gharbia.
