Maintenance and Equipment Engineer
Job purpose :
Responsible for the maintenance of construction equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in optimal working condition to support project operations.
Location: Al-Arish, Sinai
Job Description:
- Implement cost-saving measures and optimize maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Monitor expenses and analyze maintenance costs to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand equipment maintenance needs and priorities.
- Ensure timely and efficient response to equipment breakdowns to minimize project delays.
- Coordinating between different departments to complete maintenance operations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of equipment and reduce the risk of failures.
- Establish maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment maintenance and management, preferably in the construction industry
- Communication, and problem-solving skills
