ABOUT THE JOB

TheTax Accountantensures compliance with tax regulations by preparing returns, analyzing financial data, and supporting audits. This role is key to accurate reporting and effective tax planning.

Main Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file accurate tax returns (corporate, individual, VAT, etc.) in compliance with local regulations.
• Assist in tax planning and strategy development to optimize tax liabilities.
• Support audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Maintain and update tax records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data for tax reporting.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to tax.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in tax accounting or a similar role
• Basic knowledge of local and international tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with tax audits or working with tax authorities.
• Familiarity with IFRS or GAAP standards.
