Position: Q.C Chemist
Location: Borg El-Arab, Alexandria
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control (QC) Chemist to join our team. The QC Chemist will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform chemical and physical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Conduct routine and non-routine testing using various laboratory instruments.
Interpret test results against established specifications and control limits.
Accurately document laboratory work in line with GLP and SOP standards.
Investigate deviations or non-conforming results and prepare reports.
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards (GMP, ISO, FDA).
Support method development and validation when required.
Monitor laboratory inventory of reagents and supplies.
Collaborate with production and R&D teams to address quality concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Microbiology.
0–5 years of experience in Quality Control.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Good communication, documentation, and reporting abilities.
Experience in laboratory work is a plus.
