Description — Designs, plans, installs, configures and supports Cisco Network and Security infrastructure. — Proven technical experience in a wide range of issues including network architectures, monitoring networks, and enterprise networking. — Exhibit flexibility, adaptability, and work in a team orientation. — Evaluates and reports on new technologies to enhance Network and Security capabilities. — Working at directly with customers which requires good communication skills and the ability to multi-task efforts based on a dynamic environment and changing priorities. — Provide support based on a 24x7 mission critical environment and this may require schedules to work or calls in to work during off hours to fulfill support requirements. — Proven technical experience in handling vendor escalations and follow up cases until complete resolution.
Qualifications •5-7 years of Network and Security experience. • Previous experience in managing 2000+ Network nodes. •Knowledge of routing protocols (IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, etc…) •Knowledge of Management/Monitoring, VOIP and Multicast protocols. •Strong understanding and in-depth knowledge of IP network/subnet addressing. •Hands-on experience diagnosing network related issues. •Experience with Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Cisco Firewalls, and Cisco IPS Platforms.
