Description 1) Coordinate and monitor the Supply Chain activities of the different Business Units within the Sector, in order to obtain the best use of resources, facilities, equipment, and human resources. In the three areas of: 1. Logistics/Transportation, 2. Warehousing/Storage, and 3. Purchasing 2) Up-date the Supply Chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, and regulations for the Group. 3) Effective and timely reporting to the SC Group Controller. 4) Daily/weekly interaction with the field & visits to the sites, and meeting with his units counterparts, in order to ensure the efficiency of service in the 3 areas. 5) Coordinate & facilitate with his Peers (the other SC Sector Controllers) in order to solve any SC issues and obstacles. Also acting as the ‘glue– that connects the different parts of the organization. 6) Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors. 7) Monitoring stock level, and ensure warehouses have enough stock. 8) Tracking & overseeing materials receiving, and goods movements. 9) Implement new or improved supply chain processes 10) Ensure targets are met. 11) Monitoring Health & Safety procedures. 12) Monitor, coach, and motivate his team.
Qualifications 1) 5+ years management experience required 2) Supply chain management preferred 3) Logistics and transport management preferred 4) Distribution, warehousing and storage operations preferred 5) Knowledge in the Sector he will be in charge 6) Experience in inventory/planning systems preferred
