•Identify new areas / lines of business that Company can invest in •Conduct Market Research relevant to the identified business opportunities •Evaluate different technologies and the different technological trends •Evaluate different partners in any new ventures and their business strategies •Conduct financial analysis and evaluations •Develop Business Plans •Respond to RFIs and RFPs relevant to the new addressable areas •Negotiate partnership / legal agreements •Work closely with other departments of the Company (Finance, HR, Legal, operations) •Make outbound sales calls (cold calls and follow ups on leads) to potential clients in a defined market segment •Attend local and regional events •Maintain a contact management database •Qualify and schedule sales meetings with prospects •Conduct sales presentations with prospects •Building and maintaining relationships with key customers in order to maximize volume, revenue and profit. •Ensure proper execution of pricing programs •Assist Manager in establishing a marketing/customer service plan •Implement and manage a consistent marketing/customer service program in order to maximize billable hours, sales and profit growth •Complete weekly log of sales/services activities •Assist in implementing and monitoring Corporate Service Standards and the Quality Performance Program for all services offered
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. - 3-5 years working in Business development Training: -Sales and Marketing Courses -Technical updating courses Skills, Abilities, Physical Demands: - Knowledge of the enterprise market and customer base. -Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. -Demonstrate high energy in tackling challenging goals. -Self-motivated; results oriented. -Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills. -Strong presentation skills. -Capable of multitasking and be an effective time manager. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Superior problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills with proven ability to make data-driven decisions. -Excellent interpersonal skills. -Excellent problem solving techniques
