Description A Pre-Sales Engineer responsible for developing customer relationships. This person will be responsible for understanding customer needs and aligning those needs with the spectrum of MS Metrix product offerings. Main Duties: - Proactively engages in the sales cycles,and be Able to help qualifying a sales opportunity - Assessing the customer needs and performing pre demo needs analysis. - Demonstrate Microsoft products, both standard and tailored to suspects and prospects. - Generate of MS products demo scripts and scenarios - Manage pilots and prototypes - Be able to position MS products against the competition - Respond in writing to customer requirements - Respond to Request for Information/Proposal documents - Develop MS products centric selling strategies - Monitor and managing the technical pre‐sales environments - Meet customers and delivering MS products centric presentations - Develop Statements of Work for implementation consulting - Reports progress and issues to the Direct Manager in a timely manner. In particular, to relay issues that might impact on quality or the ability to deliver to timescales or estimates - Works with team on the development of standards, processes and procedures related to application security, upgrade management, capacity planning, application deployment, performance monitoring/tuning, and failover and disaster recovery. - Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done. - Possesses an understanding of sales methodologies and can apply them in a sales situation, Develop templates to assist in sales efforts. - Represents the organization in customer-facing communication, Able to talk with different audiences, appropriately adjust technical content to meet different audience knowledge and interest, and can juggle meetings with multiple audience levels
Qualifications - BS Computer Science or equivalent. - +3 years field experience. - Displays a positive attitude. - Team player with great written and oral communication skills. Results oriented – able to multi-task and meet deadlines and work with others in a demanding, fast-paced environment a commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work." - Strong client management skills and ability to keep promises - Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’ - Demonstrates flexibility in day-to-day work. - Sets high standards of performance for oneself. - Establishes harmonious working relationships with team members.
