Description — Plans and implements safety policies and procedures. — Plans and implements programs to train managers and employees in work site safety practice, fire prevention, handling techniques for chemicals, equipment and other materials. — Prepares studies and analyses of industrial accident causes and hazards to health. — Inspects organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines correctives or preventive measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented. — Provides information, signs, posters, barriers and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions. — Leads the investigation of accident and injuries and cooperates in the preparation for material and evidence for organization use in hearings, lawsuits and insurance investigations. — Compiles and submit accident reports if required. — Represents the organization in community or industry safety groups and programs. — Maintains safety files and records. — Monitors the companys safety standards< — Inspects machines and equipment for accident prevention devices. — Assists with testing and servicing safety equipment and systems. — Observes workers and evaluate job activities to determine use of prescribed safety equipment such as glasses, helmet. Goggles, respirators, clothing, harnesses and other equipment. — Implement administrative or engineering controls to abate or minimize safety hazards. — Inspects specified areas for fire prevention equipment and other safety and first-aid supplies. — Prepare report of findings with recommendations for corrective action.
Qualifications • Control of regulations in all its forms< • Good knowledge of the data-processing environment and the office automation tool. Organization and planning : to observe the procedures of organization , to plan his medium-term activities, to manage the priorities and the risks.
