Description — Editing all the research publications to ensure clarity, phrasing and structure. — Adhering to a style checklist to ensure consistency of research layouts and templates. — Working with research analysts to improve production and advice on structure/clarity of writing. — Correcting spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. — Verifying that graphics are correctly captioned. — Resolving queries directly with the author of the report. — Translating research documents from English to Arabic — Helping in the translation of equity research reports from English to Arabic. — Liaising with other departments (Sales, Trading and IT) on logistical matters related to research distribution, mailing lists, roadshows calendars and itineraries of investors inbound visits. — Communicating with external parties (Print shop and issuing companies) regarding printed research publications, participating and hosting results conference calls. — Reorganize the research departments shared drive and handle the filing of source material. — Upload news, macro data, commentaries, market multiples, earnings announcements, reports and snapshots on Sigma Capitals website & other external platforms.
Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from a reputable university with high honors. • Past experience as a financial editor in a leading business newspaper is a plus. • Proficient expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and working knowledge of Excel. • Familiarity with Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters terminals is a plus
