Manage the team that produces and analyses all costs data for actuals, monthly forecast and annual budget. Prepares cost estimates of new or special products for establishing selling prices and production forecasts. Maintains responsibility for routine compilation of parts manufacturing costs for payroll, inventory accountability, distribution of factory labor, and verification of actual costs and computation of variances. Calculates burden rates and sets up expense budgets for manufacturing and service departments. Checks and clears data on labor and materials costs burden and expense items, inventory, and profit and loss adjustments. Devises, installs or controls systems for determining unit cost of products or services. Distributes costs between the various divisions of management and production. Classifies production costs into wages, material and overhead. Provide details of Risks and Opportunities for costs to ensure that Holw ElSham is able to manage the expectations of its shareholders. Provide commentary and analysis of costs against Budget and latest forecast. Run the monthly forecast process for costs and make sure all deadlines are met. Provide commentary and analysis of costs against Budget and previous month’s forecast. Prepare Full balance sheet reviews on a monthly basis, look to continually improve balance sheet reconciliations each month. Follow up on queries. Ensure that balance sheet accurately reflects current assets and liabilities of the relevant area of the business (i.e. accruals). Manage the day-to-day supervision, training and development of the team. Provide objectives and appraisals on an annual basis. Run the month end process for costs and make sure all deadlines are met.
Qualifications Bachelor degree in Accounting. Minimum 8+ years of experience in FMCG cost accounting. Initiative and Proactive. Works under Pressure. Results-oriented. Excellent verbal /written communication skills. Extremely organized and highly motivated.
