Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Planning Engineer located in Heliopolis. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to production planning, project control, and utilizing analytical skills to ensure effective communication within the team and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical).
- From 0-2 years of experience (Lighting experience is Preferable).
- Significant experience with production planning.
- Significant experience in manufacturing resource planning.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good problem-solving Skills.
Responsibility
- Create Purchase orders and daily production orders under the supervision of planning
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating production of the company’s products
- Work a weekly production plan based on the forecast
- Follow up purchase requisition to get on the schedule to make sure the implementation of production plans on time
- Follow up, update, and control the recording of the line(s) status and products to the ERP system, and ensure that all processes are correctly reflected on the system
- Coordinate with other departments (operation-purchasing -quality-marketing) to ensure the implementation of all ongoing production plans.
- Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management
