Vacancy: Senior IT Applications Engineer (Salesforce)
Location: District 5
Part of the duties/responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using the Salesforce platform.
- Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce applications, including Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components, and integrations with external systems using APIs.
- Utilize Salesforce best practices for code quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of developed applications and responsible of production deployment and salesforce administration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce issues and provide ongoing support to end-users.
- Stay up to date on the latest Salesforce features and functionalities, including new releases and updates.
- Document technical specifications, design documents, and user guides.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL).
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs (REST & SOAP).
- Excellent understanding of Salesforce security concepts and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
