Title: Import Operations Freight Forwarder Executive
Experience Needed : 3 To 7 Years
Job Description:
- Communicating with shipping lines, trucking companies and customers.
- Issuing instructions for import/export shipments.
- Establishing good relationships with customers and vendors.
- Supporting the Company's core values and behaviors.
- Confirming all costs and vendor charges are kept to the lowest possible to keep a constant eye on the company's bottom line.
- IMPORT bookings with international/national agents, sea freight carriers and airlines.
- Investigating quoting & planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, considering the nature of goods, costs, transit time, and security.
- Obtaining & checking documentation to meet customs, packing specifications, and compliance with other countries' regulations.
- Utilize internet technology to support customer tracking of goods whilst maintaining communication and control through all phases of the journey.
Job Requirements:
- Must have strong freight forwarding experience not less than five years in a freight company, is a MUST.
- Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Must have a strong relationship with Shipping Lines & Vendors.
- Hard worker & have problem-solving skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- The ability to communicate in the English language.
Location: Zamalek or Alexandria
