Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist
Wholesale Meat & Poultry Distributor
We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable individual to take ownership of our collections process and oversee accounts receivable operations within our fast-paced wholesale meat and poultry distribution business. This role is ideal for someone who is self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently, with the opportunity to grow and build a team in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounts receivable functions
• Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments
• Communicate with customers via phone, text, and email regarding account balances
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while enforcing payment terms
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately
• Keep detailed and organized records of all transactions and communications
• Help develop and improve collections strategies and processes

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or wholesale distribution preferred

Job Requirements
