Key responsibilities include:
-Supervising the accounting department's daily activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, payroll, and utilities management.
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, to provide accurate financial information to management.
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
- Coordinating and completing annual audits, liaising with external auditors, and ensuring timely provision of necessary documents.
- Assessing current accounting practices and procedures, recommending improvements, and initiating corrective actions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Overseeing the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets to support strategic planning.
- Managing tax planning throughout the fiscal year and ensuring timely filing of annual corporate tax returns.

Qualifications needed include:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with professional certifications such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) being advantageous.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Proficiency in accounting software, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities are essential.
