Senior Accountant
♢ Location: - New Nozha -Cairo
♢ Salary Gross from 15K to 20k
Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant in the retail fashion sector specializing in banking accounts and utilizing Odoo ERP will be responsible for managing all financial transactions related to banking operations, performing reconciliations, and ensuring smooth integration of financial data across retail operations. This role will leverage Odoo ERP for efficient financial management, focusing on accounts payable/receivable, banking, and inventory accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Banking Operations & Reconciliations:
Manage daily bank transactions, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of bank statements using Odoo ERP.
Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Handle foreign exchange transactions (if applicable) and manage multi-currency accounts.
Monitor and report cash flow, ensuring there is adequate liquidity for operations.
2. Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements reflecting banking transactions and their impact on overall financial performance.
Analyze financial reports and assist management with key business decisions based on bank and transaction data.
3. Odoo ERP Integration:
Use Odoo ERP to manage and record all financial transactions, ensuring that accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking data are seamlessly integrated.
Ensure the proper setup and customization of Odoo ERP modules related to banking, financial reporting, and inventory.
Assist in training team members on Odoo ERP system usage to ensure accurate data entry and compliance with financial controls.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Oversee the recording and reconciliation of payments to suppliers and collections from customers.
Ensure that all transactions are properly captured in Odoo ERP for accurate reporting.
5. Cash Flow Management:
Monitor daily cash balances and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Provide forecasts and insights on cash flow, helping to manage liquidity needs across retail operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,
Experience:
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Accounting
Experience with Odoo ERP system is essential
Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with other accounting software.
