A leading multinational “Food & Beverage" company located in Cairo, Egypt. Is hiring a “Senior Fixed Assets Accountant" for the Finance department.

* (Job Description):
- Maintain and update the fixed assets register with accurate details of acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
- Ensure all fixed assets are correctly categorized (e.g., land, buildings, machinery, equipment).
- Review asset purchase orders and ensure they are correctly capitalized in the financial system.
- Calculate and post monthly depreciation entries based on the company’s depreciation policies.
- Ensure proper allocation of depreciation across various departments and cost centers.
- Perform periodic reconciliations of the fixed assets ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and present detailed fixed asset reports, including capital expenditures, depreciation, and asset disposals.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required asset information and schedules.
- Coordinate periodic physical asset inventories and ensure all assets are properly tagged and tracked.
- Work with other departments to ensure assets are correctly classified and accounted for.
- Assist in the management of capital expenditures and asset lifecycle management.
- Support the maintenance of the fixed assets management system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in asset tracking, accounting, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the procurement, tax, and other accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of asset-related transactions.

* (Job Requirements):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience, specialized in Fixed Assets Accounting.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing complex programs.
