AKL Auto-Feeding Industries is looking for a product development engineer.
Job Purpose:
Use mechanical design skills to improve and develop products & manufacturing processes, and participate in new product implementation and project’ coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and make technical studies for new products that meet all quality standards and specifications and satisfy customer requirements.
• Research the various ways a particular product might be used and who will use it with the related departments.
• Implement a BOM tree to follow the manufacturing phases for the product.
• Technical study for a new project to make cost reduction possible and introduce it to the finance department.
• To have sufficient knowledge about injection molding and plastics.
• Sketch ideas and create renderings to review with related departments.
• Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if the design is practical.
• Maintain a liaison with other departments to identify product needs and to produce design specifications that meet customer requirements.
• Create a project management calendar with due dates for fulfilling each goal and objective.
• Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, and work hours to meet project deadlines.
• Ensuring projects’ documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
• Review products’ parts designs after reverse engineering to ensure that it was identical to the real product with CAD inspection and prototyping.
• Calculate production rates for each stage of manufacturing documented with pictures to issue work instructions.
• Review product designs related to continuous improvements, technically and cost review with related departments.
• Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelors of mechanical & production engineering
• 1–5 years’ experience
• Experience with mechanical design work and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Experience with reverse engineering concepts.
• Knowledge and experience with the utilization of CAD/3D modeling and reverse engineering software.

AKL factory - Mansoura
Work style:
· Full-time
· 8 hours per day.
